Psychological services are provided to children and adults served by the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities (FCBDD). The Psychology Department includes a staff of psychologists, psychology assistants and behavior support specialists who provide evaluations, counseling, behavior support services, as well as consultation to staff and families/caregivers.
The FCBDD Psychology Department also provides training in areas such as positive behavioral support, trauma informed / responsive care, crisis intervention/prevention, and parenting. This department oversees the implementation of the Behavioral Support Rule of the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities and reviews referrals to the Ohio State University Nisonger Center Dual Diagnosis Clinic.
