The Family Support Group was established by the Franklin County Board of Developmental Disabilities (FCBDD) to provide parents and family members with an opportunity to meet with the Superintendent to receive updates and provide input related to services and issues impacting persons with developmental disabilities.
The Family Support Group is open to all parents and family members of individuals enrolled in services provided by Franklin County DD. Meetings are held at noon and 6 p.m. alternating times every other month using the Zoom platform. Agency updates, upcoming events, current legislative news, family requests or topics are discussed. Dates and times may change to accommodate tours of programs or special presentations.
2026 meeting dates are:
Daytime: (Noon – 12 p.m.) January 7; March 11; May 6; July 1; September 2; and November 4
Evening (6 p.m.) April 29; June 10; August 12; October 14; and December 9
