Crisis sign with a red line through it

The Franklin County DD Service Coordination Department is excited to offer the OSU Nisonger Center’s Crisis Prevention and Support Training on multiple dates in 2025.

This free, in-person training is open to all county board staff, provider agencies and family members, regardless of prior crisis intervention experience. Each session will cover prevention and intervention procedures, with a special focus on the Positive Culture Initiative and Trauma-Informed Care.

Please note that this training is not a substitute for individual, location-specific programs. Provider agencies cannot send more than three employees to a session.

Participants can earn six hours of continuing education credit in the following areas: adult services, early intervention, service coordination (SSA), county board of DD training, investigative agent, and superintendent/assistant superintendent.

Class times are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Service Coordination offices, 1600 Watermark Dr. Pick a date and register today!
