For all overnight trips, Special Olympics will provide a nurse to dispense all needed medication.
All Medication will be administered by our nurse even if you are self-medicated. All medication will be secured for the entire trip for the safety of our entire team.
All medications must be turned in to the office prior to the event so we can ensure we have everything we need before the overnight. All medication must be in a pharmacy labeled bottle with the athlete’s name, medication name, dosage and the EXACT time to be administered. If an athlete has special requirements regarding medications (i.e. take with applesauce), you are responsible for providing the needed items.
